Jeremy Charges to Another Podium Finish at Santa Maria Speedway

SANTA MARIA, CA — May 2, 2026 — Jeremy Alves and the Alves Motorsports team returned to Santa Maria Speedway on Saturday night for another exciting night of California 305 Sprint Series action, competing alongside the powerful Northern Auto Racing Club (NARC) Sprint Cars.

Racing with the NARC series is always a special experience for Jeremy, who has built strong friendships and mentorships with several of the drivers and teams in the 410 ranks.

A field of 11 California 305 Sprint Cars signed in for competition, and Jeremy drew pill number 39, which placed him 5th in the order for hot laps and qualifying.

Jeremy turned in a solid qualifying lap of 13.382 seconds, placing 6th overall and just on the bubble for the invert used to determine the Quick Change Liquid Energy main event lineup.

Jeremy then lined up on the outside of the front row for BR Motorsports Heat Race #2.

When the green flag dropped, Jeremy took command immediately.

He led every lap of the heat race in dominant fashion and recorded the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 13.249-second circuit, securing another impressive heat race victory for the No. 81a team.

As the winner of Heat Race #2, Jeremy earned the opportunity to draw the pill for the feature event. Unfortunately, he drew a zero, meaning the lineup would revert to qualifying order and place Jeremy on the inside of the third row for the Quick Change Liquid Energy main event.

The feature was slowed by several caution flags and a red flag for an on-track incident, but once the race settled in, Jeremy’s car came to life.

Working methodically through the field, Jeremy advanced into 3rd place and closed in on the battle for second. Despite a strong late-race charge, Jeremy ran out of laps and crossed the finish line with another podium finish in 3rd place.

“Santa Maria has been a great track for us, and it felt good to put together another strong night,” said Alves. “The car was really good in the heat race, and we were able to move forward in the feature. We just needed a few more laps.”

The podium finish continued a strong stretch for Jeremy as he gains confidence and consistency in his sophomore season in IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint Car competition.
