TULARE, CA — Jeremy Alves and the Alves Motorsports team returned to Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway for the final California 305 Sprint Car Series stop of the season at one of Jeremy’s favorite tracks.

The night featured a packed lineup of racing action with the Northern Auto Racing Club (NARC) 410 Sprint Cars and the West Coast Sport Compacts also on the card. A talented field of 13 California 305 Sprint Cars checked into the pits, setting up another highly competitive night of racing.

Jeremy drew pill number 35, putting him 7th in the order for qualifying competition.

The 305 division was given hot laps prior to qualifying, and on a very heavy racetrack Jeremy turned a lap of 17.460 seconds, placing 7th overall.

Heading into qualifying, the Alves Motorsports team made a few setup adjustments in hopes of improving the car and adapting to the changing surface conditions. Unfortunately, the changes moved the team in the wrong direction, and Jeremy slipped to 9th in qualifying with a lap time of 16.437 seconds.

That qualifying effort lined Jeremy up on the inside of the third row for American Racer Tire Southwest Heat Race #1.

As soon as the green flag dropped, Jeremy knew the balance of the car was not where it needed to be.

The team continued searching for answers as the track evolved throughout the night, but the setup challenges persisted. Jeremy battled hard throughout the heat race and brought home a 6th-place finish.

Frustration began to build within the team as they worked to find the speed and drivability Jeremy needed to compete at the front of the field.

With qualifying and heat race results burying him deep in the lineup, Jeremy started the main event from the inside of the sixth row.

Despite the difficult starting position and handling issues, Jeremy continued to fight throughout the feature, attempting to move forward whenever opportunities presented themselves. However, the No. 81a never fully came to life, and Jeremy ultimately salvaged a 7th-place finish on a frustrating night for the team.

Following the race, the Alves Motorsports crew immediately went back to work, returning to the shop and tearing the car apart in search of answers to the issues they have been battling over the last several races.

“This team never stops working,” said Alves. “We know we’re capable of running up front, and everyone is putting in the effort to figure things out and get this car back where it belongs.”

The determination and work ethic of the Alves Motorsports team continue to reflect the family-driven mentality behind Jeremy’s racing program as they search for improvements moving forward in the 2026 season.
